ANNUAL PATIENT SURVEY: The results of our recent patient satisfaction survey can be found by clicking the link under the 'Have your say' tab above. We had a very good response rate with more than 630 completed surveys being returned. We would like to invite interested patients to attend a Patient Group Meeting to go through the findings and to look at areas where we could improve the services we offer. If you would like to be involved in this, please contact the surgery by e-mailing Becky Burns, our Practice Operations Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are hoping to hold this meeting in early May.
APPOINTMENTS SYSTEM: Do you know that around 66% of our routine GP appointments can be booked on the day - these are not just reserved for emergencies? The remaining appointments are available for pre-booking up to one month in advance. You can book your doctor's appointment either by phone, in person or online (make sure you are registered for online services so that not only can you book appointments but you can also order repeat prescriptions, view test results etc at any time to suit). Same day appointments are available to book from 8.00 am. Once all appointments have been taken, any urgent requests for appointments will be directed to our on-call doctor who will call you back to discus the nature of your problem and agree the most appropriate way forward.
NEW TELEPHONE SYSTEM: In response to patient feedback regarding telephone access and due to the fact that our practice list size has increased considerably, we are pleased to announce that we have installed a new phone system with additional lines. We hope that this will make a big difference and that patients notice improved response times when contacting the surgery by phone.
