Patients can now access chest X Rays without the need for a referral from the GP first if you are :
- Aged over 40 years
- Not had a chest x ray or CT in the last 3 months
- Had one or more of the following symptoms for more than 3 weeks :
- Fatigue
- Cough
- Chest pain
- Shortness of breath
- Appetite loss
- Weight loss
If you meet the above criteria you can attend one of the Hospitals Radiology (X Ray) Departments listed below :-
- Royal Oldham Hospital
- 8am – 8pm Mon – Fri 9am – 12noon Saturday
- Rochdale Infirmary
- 8am – 8pm Mon – Fri 9am – 12 noon Saturday
- Fairfield General Hospital
- 8am – 8pm Mon – Fri 9am – 12 noon Saturday
