Repeat prescriptions

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORDERING OF REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS:

DUE TO THE CURRENT SITUATION, PLEASE ALLOW 1 WEEK FOR US TO PROCESS & SEND YOUR PRESCRIPTION ELECTRONICALLY TO YOUR NOMINATED PHARMACY. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PHARMACY NOMINATED, PLEASE CONTACT RECEPTION.

How can I order my repeat prescription?

  • The quickest and safest way to order your medication is by using the NHS App, simply download the NHS App and inform Reception, we will then allow you access to do this
  • You can hand in a paper request at reception

Please note, we do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone.

When will my prescription be ready for collection?

  • You should allow 7 working days for the processing of your prescription
  • Please do not ring the surgery to check if your prescription is ready, you are able to see the status of your request on the NHS App. It will be ready for you to collect 7 days after ordering (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

Electronic Prescription Service

We no longer print prescriptions, all prescriptions are sent electronically via the Electronic Prescription Service, so you will need to nominate a pharmacy and we will send all future prescriptions to them.

This will not affect the way that you order / request prescriptions.

Prescriptions charges and exemptions
